THE RESULT
A kitchen design that solved the challenges of restricted layout options and the space’s use as a passageway through to the backdoor terrace.
The circulation of the space around the kitchen was restricted so we re-routed the plumbing in the vertical column behind the island which allowed us to adopt the final layout.
One of the units features a breakfast unit which has a pull-out work surface, perfect so they don’t burn the units inside when the toaster is on.
We used a monochrome colour approach to the kitchen. A seating area is on end at the bar, made with a special material Specva.
Appliances included Quooker tap and the very newly launched air shaft hob, from Siemens. It illuminates with different colours and creates a low-pressure zone around the hob area which is extremely effective and looks beautiful.
